Gracious God,
you called your servant Swithin
to be a loyal adviser to his king
and a faithful leader of his people;
give us courage
to speak boldly in your name
and follow humbly where you lead;
through Jesus Christ our Saviour.
Amen.

Prayer

Our Father,
your will be done
on earth as in heaven.
Holy and enabling Spirit,
give wings to our morning prayers.
May those we support and cherish with our love
receive your grace to help them in their need.
Amen.
