Prayer
Blessèd are you, Sovereign God, ruler of the nations, 11Timely advice is as lovely as gold apples in a silver basket. 12It is a badge of honor to accept valid criticism. 13A faithful employee is as refreshing as a cool day[a] in the hot summertime. 14One who doesn’t give the gift he promised is like a cloud blowing over a desert without dropping any rain. 15 Be patient and you will finally win, for a soft tongue can break hard bones.
to you be glory and praise for ever!
From the rising of the sun to its setting
your name is proclaimed in all the world.
As the Sun of Righteousness dawns in our hearts,
anoint our lips with the seal of your Spirit
that we may witness to your gospel
and sing your praise in all the world,
Creator, Redeemer, and Giver of Life:
Blessèd be God for ever!
Old Testament Reading - A word fitly spoken

Please remember our Prayer Requests
Lord, send us your loving-kindness in the morning
and so shall we rejoice and be glad.
Lord, have mercy. E te Ariki, kia aroha mai.
Let not the oppressed turn away ashamed;
let the poor and needy praise your name.
Christ, have mercy. E te Karaiti, kia aroha mai.
Teach us your ways, O Lord,
and we will walk in your truth.
Lord, have mercy. E te Ariki, kia aroha mai.
Amen.
