Seek the Lord
Seek the Lord who is still to be found:
call upon God who is yet at hand.
Return to the Lord, who will have compassion:
to our God, who will abundantly pardon.
New Testament Reading - Sound teaching

11Teach these things and make sure everyone learns them well. 12Don’t let anyone think little of you because you are young. Be their ideal; let them follow the way you teach and live; be a pattern for them in your love, your faith, and your clean thoughts. 13Until I get there, read and explain the Scriptures to the church; preach God’s Word.
14Be sure to use the abilities God has given you through his prophets when the elders of the church laid their hands upon your head. 15Put these abilities to work; throw yourself into your tasks so that everyone may notice your improvement and progress. 16Keep a close watch on all you do and think. Stay true to what is right and God will bless you and use you to help others.
. . . . . 1 Timothy 4:11-16Intercession
Intercession and Thanksgiving are offered in free prayer
or in silence, ending with the following:
Show us your mercy, O Lord,
and grant us your salvation.
Lord, have mercy. E te Ariki, kia aroha mai.
The earth is full of violence:
look, O Lord, upon your covenant.
Christ, have mercy. E te Karaiti, kia aroha mai.
O God, do not be silent;
do not keep still, nor hold your peace, O God.
Lord, have mercy. E te Ariki, kia aroha mai.
Amen.
