you called your servant Sava
to found and build the Serbian church;
may we who are built on Christ’s foundation
be living stones,
effective witnesses to the gospel;
through our Saviour Jesus Christ.

Prayer
Our Father,
your will be done
on earth as in heaven.
Almighty and everlasting God,
we thank you that you have brought us safely
to the beginning of this day;
keep us from falling into sin or running into danger,
and guide us to do always what is right in your eyes.
