Almighty God,
you chose the archangel Gabriel
to proclaim God's son was to be born,
by which our salvation is assured;
speak to us through your messengers,
that we may serve you as children of light;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Prayer
Our Father,
your kingdom come
on earth as in heaven.
Holy and everliving God,
by your power we are created
and by your love we are redeemed;
guide and strengthen us by your Spirit,
that we may give ourselves to your service
and live this day in love to one another and to you;
through Jesus Christ our Saviour.
