Loving God,
your servants Timothy and Titus went with Paul
and shared his labours for the spread of the gospel;
grant that we, like them, may be ready
to bear witness and to suffer in your service;
for the sake of Jesus Christ our Redeemer.

Prayer
Our Father,
hallowed be your name
on earth as in heaven.
Almighty and everlasting God,
we thank you that you have brought us safely
to the beginning of this day.
Keep us from falling into sin or running into danger,
and guide us to do always what is right in your eyes;
through Jesus Christ our Saviour.
