Prayer

Bless the Lord, whose name is to be praised,
Our Father who art in heaven,
who has given us his laws,
to show us the error of our ways,
Blessed is his son, Christ the Messiah,
who redeemed us from having broken them.
Blessed are you, O Holy Spirit,
who assists us in sinning no more,
and sustains us in the way of the Lord,
grant us wisdom and understanding this day.
Amen.

Psalm 119 (f) 41-48

  1. Let your steadfast love come to me O Lord:
    your saving help according to your promise.
  2. Then shall I have my answer for those who taunt me:
    for my trust is in your word.
  3. Let my mouth never fail to speak the truth:
    for my hope is in your judgments.
  4. I shall always keep your law:
    I shall keep it for ever and ever.
  5. I shall walk in the path of freedom:
    because I study your precepts.
  6. I will speak of your decrees before kings:
    and I will not be abashed in their presence.
  7. I find delight in your commandments:
    which I have greatly loved.
  8. I will revere your commandments and love them:
    and I will meditate on your statutes.

Please remember our Prayer Requests

We pray for all people in their daily life and work;
For our families, friends, and neighbours
and for those who are alone.
For this community,
the nation,
and the world;
For all who work for justice, freedom, and peace.
Hear us, Lord;
For your mercy is great.
Amen.
