Prayer List
Heavenly Father,
you have promised to hear when we pray
in the name of your son,
Therefore in confidence and trust,
We pray for the Church:
🙏 For persecuted Christians around the world.
🙏 We pray for our local clergy, (wherever in the world you happen to be). For the administration staff of our Church – who keep things running smoothly. For all the volunteers that help with all that needs to be done. For youth workers, Sunday school teachers and helpers in both the school and church situations. We pray especially for those reaching out and working in Pastoral Care.
🙏 We pray for all those working as Chaplain's today Lord, that you would bless and uphold them and walk with them as they help support and care for your flock.
Father enliven the Church for its mission
that we may be salt of the earth and light to the world
Breathe fresh life into your people
Give us power to reveal Christ in word and action.

ANTI-SEMITISM
🙏 Anti-Semitism is rife throughout the world right now. There is a simpler world for anti-Semitism - it is pure and simply Racism - please pray against racism throughout the world - Racism is a tool of Satan and we should not tolerate it in ourselves or in our Churches and communities! Pray against this tool of the enemy and his lies!
HUMAN TRAFFICKING
🙏Pray for victims of human trafficking, who are children and adults. Pray that God protects those who want to come forward to bring trafficking rings to justice, and are in life threatening situations. Also, for law enforcement to have wisdom and the resources needed to bring those who sell and abuse humans to justice.
IRAN
🙏 Please pray for Christians in Iran. The internal unrest there right now on top of the sanctions imposed is making it more difficult for Iran to support it's proxies, like Hamas and Hezbollah and this ultimately will save lives. But is likely making things even more difficult for Christians in a place where being Christian can get you killed.
ISRAEL
🙏 Give thanks to God 4 of the Hostages taken from the Music Festival on 7 Oct, have been rescued by the IDF. We pray however for the family of the brave IDF soldier who lost his life during the firefight getting them out.
🙏 Israel are not taking any chances, they know the backstory of the jihadists who have just taken over Syria, so they have bombed it, destoying any and all military capacity that Syria had left. While Syria does not currently appear to be looking for war - many of those jihadist soldiers are talking about taking Jerusalem - so Israel are not wrong to be concerned. Please pray for the protection of Jerusalem.
🙏 Please pray for the Jesus the King Church in Nazareth and especially for the Christmas project, bringing food boxes to Arabs, Jews, Christians and Moslems building bridges, connections and fostering peace.
LEBANON
🙏 The ceasefire that the USA brokered with Israel and Hezbollah has not lasted very long - Hezbollah violated the ceasefire over the weekend and Israel have swiftly retaliated with 4 very targeted air strikes. Please pray for the protection of ordinary citizens of Lebanon who are NOT members of Hezbollah and don't want this disruption to their lives.
🙏Pray also for the Lebanese National Army who under the ceasefire agreement are now going to have to step up and police the terrorists in their nation.
PALESTINIAN PEOPLE
🙏 Hamas refuse to realize that they have lost the war and are continuing to fire missiles into Israel when they can. Please pray that they would see the light, pray for the salvation of the Palestinian People.
SYRIA
🙏 North East Syria has a large number of Christians. A stable local government had formed itself there in 2019, operating separately from the Assad Regime and tried to give them no reason to come investigate what it was doing. It took care to represent all minorities and religions in North East Syria, working to promote, understanding and tolerance and is a western style democracy. It was only the 2nd ever true democracy to form in the Middle East, its a miracle it exists. They are now being attacked by the SNA and Turkey. The HTS rebals (Islamic Group) that has taken over from Assad actually stopped an SNA massacre that had begun there. Many in the North East are still uneasy with a 'lets wait and see' attitude toward the New rebal based government in Syria proper. Meanwhile the true extent of the now revealed atrocites committed by the Assad regime are beginning to come to light - hundreds of thousands may have been starved and tortured to death in what is being called the worst atocities of the 21st Century. In the midst of this Israel's IDF has attacked Syria, being careful not to harm civilians, but only destoying the military capability of the old regime, so the new rebals won't have use of it, against a nervous Israel. The rebals are saying all the right things at this point - but whether they can be trusted is the question - the rebals seem to understand what Israel is doing, and may actually seek help and humanitarian aid from Israel (they might even get it). North Eastern Syria is separately asking for that friendship and help from the entire Christian World, the USA and Israel. They are asking for help to defend themselves from Turkey and the SNA. Please pray for them.
UKRAINE
🙏 The Ukraine has fought back in the face of Russia's greater manpower and deeper resources but things are looking bad for them currently. Ukraine is under fierce pressure on the front lines, where its army chief has warned his forces are facing “one of the most powerful Russian offensives” since the start of the war. They have been facing nightly drone attacks by Iranian made and supplied drones, since September. Please pray for the Ukraine.
USA
🙏 California has suffered a major forest fire with many losing their homes. This was not expected during their winter - please pray that the source of the blaze is quickly found, and for all those who have lost their homes/pets and belongings.
Creator of all,
lead us and every people into ways of justice and peace,
That we may respect one another in freedom and truth.
Awaken in us a sense of wonder for the earth
and all that is in it
Teach us to care creatively for its resources.

COVID-19
🙏 We have had a personal report from a Jr Doctor this week of a sudden huge rush of Covid patients to ED. Please pray for all our hospitals staffs, and for those suffering through this and their families.
Give grace to all whose lives are linked with ours.
May we serve Christ in one another, and love as he loves us.
We pray for those in need:
Please pray for God's peace to be with Jen who has had 2 massive seizures this week and for her husband that he would know God's comfort.
Please pray for Russell who need major heart surgery. Pray for a successful outcome and comfort for his family.
🙏 Please pray for AJ whose kidney function is down to 11%.
🙏 Please pray for Steph who has recently suffered a prolapsed disc in her back. Pray for her for Salvation and healing.
🙏 Please pray for all those who have lost loved ones this week, may the Comforter wrap loving arms around them.
God of hope comfort and restore
all who suffer in body, mind or spirit
May they know the power of your healing love.
Make us willing agents of your compassion.
Strengthen us as we share in making people whole.
Thanksgiving
Lord we praise and thank you for:
🙏 All the Churches that have make available live streamed services providing comfort, guidance and the opportunity for shut-ins, the bedridden, and those in lockdown to still worship and be a part of the global family of Christ.
🙏 God’s creation that is still going on around us.
🙏 God loves us so much during this difficult time, and he shares our pain, fear and grief. His shoulders are large enough to embrace the world - it is natural to worry, but it is also a burden we need not bear, give the worries to Him.
🙏 Give thanks for our worldwide family of God, loved by God and by each other.
🙏 Our families, friends and loved ones and our church families.
PRAYER 7's

that you bless us with what we need
