Prayer List
Heavenly Father,
you have promised to hear when we pray
in the name of your son,
Therefore in confidence and trust,
We pray for the Church:
🙏 For persecuted Christians around the world.
🙏 We pray for our local clergy, (wherever in the world you happen to be). For the administration staff of our Church – who keep things running smoothly. For all the volunteers that help with all that needs to be done. For youth workers, Sunday school teachers and helpers in both the school and church situations. We pray especially for those reaching out and working in Pastoral Care.
🙏 We pray for the Church of Latter Day Saints, in Michigan, USA as they pray for the lives of those lost, in the recent church shooting and arson, and for those still in hospital, especially the children.
Father enliven the Church for its mission
that we may be salt of the earth and light to the world
Breathe fresh life into your people
Give us power to reveal Christ in word and action.

🙏 Anti-Semitism is rife throughout the world right now. There is a simpler word for anti-Semitism - it is pure and simply Racism - please pray against racism throughout the world - Racism is a tool of Satan and we should not tolerate it in ourselves or in our Churches and communities! Pray against this tool of the enemy and his lies!
DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO (DRC)
🙏 The DRC has multiple problems, they have a major group of jihadist rebels linked to Islamic State, causing terrorism within the country, the most recent attack killed 50 mourners at a funeral in a village. They are also dealing with an outbreak of Ebola, which has already killed 15 people. Please pray! Over 21 million people require humanitarian support. This is a country rich in natural resources that should by now be self-supporting but it is not - due to terrorism, violence and also corruption.
GAZA
🙏 The Propaganda war continues, Mainstream Media Reports can not be trusted, they openly admit that the record of casualties/dead they report come from Hamas. That said it is a WAR, civilians including woman and children will be wounded and killed, especially since Hamas insists on using them as human shields. Pleas pray for the people of Gaza, caught in the horror of war between the evil and hatred of Hamas and the Israeli Defense Forces that are trying to destroy Hamas and thereby protect their people. Pray for Peace, pray for the salvation of the Palestinian people which is the only thing that could destroy the hate and death filled ideology behind Hamas.
ISRAEL
🙏 God does not and will not forget his first people! He loves the Jews, there is not a family in Israel that has not been touched by the terrorism of Hamas and Hezbollah. But especially the families of those hostages still being held in Gaza. Please pray for the hostages and their families and for Jerusalem. Pray that God's presence will light up the darkness of their prison tunnels. Pray for their protection and swift return to their families, and that hatred will not win!
MYANMAR
🙏 Myanmar is embroiled in a full-scale civil war which has been going on a long time now, with the military junta facing significant territorial losses to a coalition of ethnic armed organizations and pro-democracy resistance groups. Over 3.5 million people are internally displaced, and 22 million are in need of humanitarian assistance with famine warnings. IT is the worst humanitarian crisis currently in South East Asia.
NORTH KOREA
🙏 North Korea remains at the top of the World Watch List as the worst, most dangerous country in which to be a Christian. Being discovered to be a Christian in North Korea can mean a death sentence. Please pray for the people of North Korea, especially Christians remaining there.
PALESTINIAN PEOPLE
🙏 Jesus love the Palestinian children just as much as the Jewish and Christian ones. Sadly they have been taught racism, hate and fear, while Hamas continues to betray them. Please pray for their protection and salvation. Also pray for Palestinian Christians caught in the war zone. Pray God frees Palestine from Hamas!
RUSSIA/UKRAINE WAR
🙏 Reports say that Russian Offensives have failed to meet their goals on the Battlefield and they have sustained heavy losses as the War Continues. The Ukraine with help appears to be holding its own, but Russia is a superpower with Nuclear capability and the aggressor in the War. Please pray for Europe at threat on various fronts, and for the Ukraine people. Also for Christians in Russia who have been targeted repeatedly by the regime, as it continues to suffer heavy losses on the Battlefield.
SYRIA
The new President of Syria has his hands full. Nearly 17 million people require humanitarian aid in Syria, with a similarly large number displaced from their homes. He reportedly wants a deal with Israel. Israeli and US troops are apparently present in Syria and they are negotiating a security first - peace later pact. Israel's interests being in protection for the Druse in Southern Syria. Please pray that they can come to an agreement and the genocide of Christian's and Druze in Syria will cease.
SUDAN
Sudan is dealing with a national disaster- a massive landslide which buried over a 1,000 people on 6 Sept. This comes on top of an on-going Civil War that has involved Crimes against Humanity occurring. 30 million people, roughly 65% of the population, require urgent humanitarian aid and protection. Basic services have collapsed. Violence including sexual violence has become endemic there. 13 million people there have been displaced from their homes.
UKRAINE
🙏 The fact that the Ukraine has held its own (sometimes barely) against Russia for 4 years is a miracle! War is never good but neither is giving into tyranny and Putin is a tyrant; his rule has been characterized by the suppression of political opponents, restrictions on freedom of the press, and a strong personality cult.. marking him as dictator! Please continue to uphold the Ukraine in prayer. There has been a recent major missile attack on Kiev, 23 people died....many of them children, as the EU Embassy and Office in Kiev was damaged, EU leaders are reportedly outraged. Please continue to pray for the Ukraine.
Creator of all,
lead us and every people into ways of justice and peace,
That we may respect one another in freedom and truth.
Awaken in us a sense of wonder for the earth
and all that is in it
Teach us to care creatively for its resources.
We pray for our Country:
🙏 We pray you grant wisdom to our Government, that they continue to make wise decisions, especially in light of the stife and turmoil continuing in the world.
Give grace to all whose lives are linked with ours.
May we serve Christ in one another, and love as he loves us.
We pray for those in need:
🙏 Please pray for AJ who is receiving 6 hourly dialysis and has now developed heart problems.
🙏 Please pray for Clare, who has brain tumors and her family, who have gathered as her condition deteriorates; please pray for comfort for them, and peace for Clare.
🙏 Please pray for a friend of Angharads, who has lost her home to fire.
🙏 Please pray for Sue's Dad who is in hospital in the UK. Pray for wisdom for the doctors, and healing.
God of hope comfort and restore
all who suffer in body, mind or spirit
May they know the power of your healing love.
Make us willing agents of your compassion.
Strengthen us as we share in making people whole.
Thanksgiving
Lord we praise and thank you for:
🙏 Please pray a blessing for all those on prayer chains - the many who faithfully pray and intercede for others. There is a lot of hurt, pain and evil in the world, sometimes it can feel overwhelming and sometimes a tangible sense of the sadness God feels about it can also be felt. Help us remember Jesus is big enough to love all of us. But today especially pray for those who upon receiving a text, pause whatever they are doing and for a few moments, reconnect with God to bring the plight of someone who needs prayer to his attention. Thank God for the love and compassion they have towards others.
🙏 God’s creation that is still going on around us.
🙏 God loves us so much during this difficult time, and he shares our pain, fear and grief. His shoulders are large enough to embrace the world - it is natural to worry, but it is also a burden we need not bear, give the worries to Him.
🙏 Give thanks for our worldwide family of God, loved by God and by each other.
🙏 Our families, friends and loved ones and our church families.
PRAYER 7's
